NEW MILFORD CONNECTICUT – This afternoon we went to Janine’s and Zaak’s wedding – I was carrying my Leica Monochrom and my f.95 Noctilux lens.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Did I mention that Francesca broke her foot and moved back to our apartment for a few weeks to avoid her walk-up? Well here she is with (at least here’s her cast) taken with my Leica Monochrom and a 24mm Summilux lens.
In the afternoon I flew down to DC for a James Beard Foundation event at the State Department. i arrived a few minute early so I had a chance to catch the Vietnam Memorial with my iPhone.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Well, here we are in front of the Seagrams Building. A typical hangout for me. I often have meetings in the area and the plaza between the Seagrams Building and the Racquet and Tennis Club is one of the great urban spaces in the country. The plaza is presently featuring sculpture by John Chamberlain – works that look like they are made of crumpled up aluminum foil, but on a really large scale. Here’s one taken with my every-present Leica Monochrom and 35mm Summilux lens:

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I dropped Francesca off at Hospital for Special Surgery to get the bones in her foot screwed back together. carrying my Leica Monochrom and a 50 mm Summilux lens. Remember this thing records only black and white and offers more resolution and better high ISO performance than the Leica M9.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – -Look’s like Francesca’s back home again. She has interrupted her post-bar pre-work travel to come home to have here broken foot repaired at the Hospital for Special Surgery. She’s cheerful under the circumstances. Taken with my Leica Monchrom and 35mm Suumilux lens. The Monochrom continues to wow me.
