NEW YORK NEW YORK – Here we are in Williamsburg at a launch party for a book by our old friend Antonio Monda. Captures with my Leica Monochrom and f.95 Noctilux lens.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – A physically miserable day – rain, fog, low flat sky. This is from my office window with the Leica Monochrom.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – We went downtown to explore the small retail presence of an online eyeglasses maker. They’re in the Puck building, just south of Houston. It appears that this building is now owned by New York University which is quietly bought up very important real estate in this area. Here’s the view out the 7th floor window. Taken with my Leica Monochrom and a 50mm Dual Range Summicron lens. Six frames stitched. The stitching software has done something odd here – the perspective of the original version of this image was somehow squished on the horizontal axis. I’ve replaced it with a de-squished version.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – After a long weekend in Bermuda this is really a crap day – I spent the day at my computer catching up on administrative stuff that I hate. At about 4:00 I rebelled and decided to ride the Staten Island ferry to catch the good light with my Leica Monochrom. Here you go:
On this day last year: Rehearsal.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Back home. Out the window of a taxi on the ride back from the airport.
On this day one year ago: Bus.
PAGET BERMUDA – We’re staying at the Coral Beach Club, which we were given an introduction to by a friend’s aunt way back when we were first married. We’re actually here with our children to celebrate our anniversary (today) and Maria’s birthday (yesterday). Still chugging along with my Monochrom. The weather was cloudy today – remember what I said about the reliability of the weather in Bermuda? Anyway, some images, first of the church of the oldest Protestant congregation in the Western Hemisphere:
An interior of the same church (done with the Monochrom and my 18mm Super Elmar):

On this day last year: Food.
PAGET BERMUDA – Still here. The great thing about Bermuda is that it’s close for us: two hours flying time from New York. The not great thing is that it’s too far North (the same latitude as North Carolina) to have reliable weather. Anyway, here are a few more images with the Monochrom.
On this day last year: Maria has a birthday.
