NEW YORK NEW YORK – Over the past weekend the third and Northern-most segment of the High Line Park opened. I took a walk on the new segment today. Not as interesting as the other portions of the High Line, which snakes through a number of colorful and changing (actually mostly changed) neighborhoods. The last segment snakes around the Long Island Railroad marshaling yard. Interesting to see once but it doesn’t offer much variety.

WARREN CONNECTICUT and NEW YORK NEW YORK – We woke up on a foggy morning in Connecticut to drive to New York and the Lower East Side to join some friends who had organized a tour of the Tenement Museum and the Eldridge Street Synagogue. Worth a voyage.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – This is more like it. I had some time today at last to get in the moment and try to find my photo mojo. The results were ok – I’ve actually had some trouble editing September 19 so I’m presenting multiple images.
