NEW YORK NEW YORK – Egregiously wide today. I was out and about with my Carl Zeiss 15mm lens which is really wide and a handful to handle. The lens requires great pains to shoot level to avoid radically weird vertical ones. This means that there is a lot of foreground which one handles by cropping to square. Just think of this as a square format lens.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – A family day today. I’m resisting the temptation post more images of Baby V, our granddaughter, who breaks the no cute kids rule. Instead, here’s a bird feeder.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I met a friend (actually Maria’s godson) for lunch on the West Side today and walked home across Central Park. It was that “grazing light” moment on CPW so I concentrated on building facades. This happens every sunny day but sometimes – like today – it works out better than others.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – So today I really didn’t feel like photography. I “captured” a pot of rice while cooking dinner – it wasn’t moving all that fast so the capture was easy.
