BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – Here again. Interestingly, I was in Boston on this day five years ago when I shot the bus station an got a Cartier-Bresson collection of moving figures. Today the emphasis is on security cameras, which are everywhere; security cameras is one of the threads that I’m developing.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – A busy day prepping for meetings next week so photography is not a top priority. I managed to shoot some hostas, which we have in vast profusion here because we’ve got a lot of deep shade in the summer, which they thrive in. Not a terrific image – last year’s image of similar subject matter is much more interesting.

I’ve started key wording these images as “summer”, which I haven’t done in the past. The summer aesthetic here is a feeling of being crowed by lush plant life, some of which is poisonous and most of which harbors dear ticks and thus Lime Disease.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – Today I’m afraid that I’ve been distracted by may day job. I shot a few good light images around the house, mainly with my new Leica Q which I convert to black and white. I’m experimenting with on-camera flash with this camera with reasonably subtle results.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Back here and a bit rushed running errands and preparing for some meetings. I got not much, except a nice alley.

WASHINGTON DC – Back here again at a conference. I have a project going on now, which I haven’t really discussed, of shooting security cameras. They really are everywhere. Consider this a “Where’s Waldo” exercise. Note the confluence of Union Station Washington and GCT in New York on this date.
