WARREN CONNECTICUT – We were joined by some German friends as houseguests so the day has been spent having fun – not much serious photography.

PINE PLAINS NEW YORK – We visited the house here of a recently deceased friend. We found this in a pergola up a hill from the house: a famous quote from Philip Larkin’s poem “An Arundel Tomb”.

CAPRI ITALY – After a full day of travel from Milan we arrived here for Le Converationi, a literary festival organized by our friends Antonio Monda and Davide Azzolini. This is really, really fun, but visually Capri doesn’t change much from year to year and we’ve been here at least a dozen times so it risks being a bit stale on the photo a day front. We’ll be struggling a bit.
