WARREN CONNECTICUT – A family day today. I’m resisting the temptation post more images of Baby V, our granddaughter, who breaks the no cute kids rule. Instead, here’s a bird feeder.
Day 1,781 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – So today I really didn’t feel like photography. I “captured” a pot of rice while cooking dinner – it wasn’t moving all that fast so the capture was easy.
Day 1,776 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’m flying to London this evening. As a travel day this is rare as I actually had a chance to capture some images as I went about my day – travel days are usually a disaster for me from a photographic standpoint. Here are a few from close to home.
Day 1,737 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (day 276): Arethusa Farm/
NEW YORK NEW YORK – So my very sore heel was diagnosed yesterday as a torn plantar fascia, a common occurrence, it turns out. The remedy involves limiting activity and waiting, among other things, neither of which am I particularly good at. This is going to impinge on my mobility for the next month or so, which limits the scope of things that come in front of my lens. So today is a little more boring than yesterday, and tomorrow may be more boring yet.
Day 1,679 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – What looks like snow here is actually a sheet of ice. I wandered around a bit, but not very far, and found this. I’m getting genuinely tired of using “winter” and “Warren” tags.
The second image is a screen shot of my Twitter page showing 10,000 followers, which I celebrated today.
This is day 1,613 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (day 152): Cash for your Warhol. This image as originally published was in color (taken with a Leica M9). I’ve reworked it, translating to black and white, which I really prefer for this image. Click through on the link if your interested in the original version.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – I’m writing this in New York where we live most of the time. The images from February 15 and 16 were taken in Connecticut where we have a weekend house. I edited the February 15 and 16 images in Connecticut and somehow only brought a portion of them back to New York. This may not be the best image of the day. I’ll be back in Connecticut next weekend and will update this post if I find something better. This photo-a-day thing is very demanding in terms of having a set and consistent workflow. I’ve edited this entry to include the first two images below. I was separated from these files when I first prepared this post.
Day 1,584 of one picture a day for the rest of my life.
