WARREN CONNECTICUT – A low energy day. But there was a moment of lovely light in our bathroom here, which I captured with my Leica Monochrom and 18mm Super Elmar lens.
On this day last year: Spin.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – On Park Avenue again very early in the morning walking to meetings. Later in the day a time out from meetings in a telephone room that I call the penalty box. Shot with my baby Sony, which does the job but is a bit short on charisma.
On this day last year: Boston. Not much on an image. Meh squared.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – More images with the King (my Leica 35mm Summichron v IV lens). Taken with my Leica Monochrom.
On this day last year: Reflected sky.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – One of those busy, distracted days. Here’s an image of some baby debris taken with my Sony RX 100 II.
On this day last year: After Sandy.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Housebound today with work. We’ve also got a baby watch going on here. Laura and Alexander are staying with us while some work on their kitchen is being completed. She’s had some contractions (her due date is Friday) so we’ve got a baby watch going on. Today I put my f.95 Noctilux lens on my Leica M and practiced focusing around the apartment. Here’s an example:

SCHLOSS ELMAU GERMANY – A couple of observations. Some days are better than others. This was not a better day. Despite the alpine scenery my photographs were meh.
Every day before I leave home base I take a picture to make sure that the camera has a memory card, a charged battery and settings that are not off in outer space. When I shot film every roll began with a picture of my shoes. Today the random image from our room at the schloss was the best of a poor lot so I’m posting it. Don’t blame my Leica Monochrom for the results.
On this day one year ago: Red Rooster Drive-In.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Packing for Germany and wrapping up in the office. I spent an hour in our apartment shooting down at things with my Leica Monochrom and Luxochron lens.
On this day last year: Bright day.
