WARREN CONNECTICUT – I caught a bit of ground fog with my drone in a nearby valley at sunrise.

Day 2,881 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

On this day last year (day 2,516): Window. In general not much going on on September 4 for the past seven years.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I spent this morning shooting the drone in our apartment. It’s just a little tight for flying and the rotor wash tends to cause havoc, but the drone does provide a different perspective on everyday life.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I’m here on my own today which gives me an opportunity to fly my drone indoors, which takes some concentration, but it turns out that it’s doable. I captured some interesting perspectives. The straight down Google Earth view can actually be interesting indoors.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Distracted with working on year-end taxes and so on, so we’re stuck with an interior featuring a Venini vase in the window (I collect Venini) and our relatively recently-acquqired Tibetan altarpiece.

Day 2,712 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Still shooting with the tiny 28mm Summaorn lens, a Leica re-issue of a lens introduced in 1955. It really has rekindled my interest in this focal length, which I’ve been neglecting for a while. Good light in Manhattan (which is covered by dirty snow drifts – the residue of the blizzard) and an image of an image.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – The highlight of my day was a visit to our doctor’s office for my annual echo cardiogram. There was nice light on Park Avenue.
