NEW YORK NEW YORK – Tied up with phone calls at home I became a bit concerned about getting my image for the day so I shot some abstractions with my Sony 7rii. Then later in the day I actually found some decent light at Lexington Avenue and 87th Street.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’m feeling kind of architectural today. I’m shooting with a Dual Range Summicron lens from the late 50s or early 60s. It provides marvelous renderings. Both images are six frames stitched.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I caught an early Acela to Boston for some meetings, so I found myself in the vicinity of Penn Station (the most vile portal on any major city anywhere in the world) pre=dawn in the rain. I actually got some ok images.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Happy Birthday to the United States Marine Corps.

Today I explored grids. Needless to say they are everywhere. The images of the subway grating and sculpture are with my iPhone; the Seagrams Building and Citicorp with my Leica Monochrom.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Many New Yorkers commute on foot. This time of year there are very long shadows in the late afternoon when people hit the streets. All images with my Leica Monochrom.
