NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’m experimenting with my relatively new Sony Alph 7rii. This is a “mirrorless” camera that packs a 42 meg full sized sensor into a relatively small package. It has excellent high ISO performance. With various adapters it works with just about every lens ever made from every manufacturer. It this point the only native lens that I have for it is the excellent Zeiss Batis 85mm. I did a lot of stitched images today, which results in very large files. Processing them on my Mac Pro desktop is fine, but they bring my iMac in Connecticut to its knees. The files require a fair amount of post-processing work to generate good gray scale images. Interesting times.
I’ve also thrown in an iPhone selfie.
Day 2216 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day last year (day 1851}: Late Fall I clearly suffer from Autumn fatigue at this time of year.
