CALA DE VOLPE, SARDINIA – I was bored at the beach today. I go because it’s a family activity but it’s not really for me. So I looked up and shot the daylight moon with my 50mm lens on my Leica M11 Monochrom. This is a poor setup for astronomy – the moon was a tiny spot in the middle of the frame. But I used a step upres technique in Photoshop. The result is an actually recognizable moon, demonstrating the power of this lens and camera combination and the clarity of the air here.
Day 5001 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
