WARREN CONNECTICUT – Fall captured with my Leica Monochrom and Luxochron lens.
On this day last year: Leaf season.
I took a picture on the same spot yesterday – it’s very appealing this time of year – but with a less wide lens (the Luxochrom) and using selective focus to emphasize the birches. Which do you prefer?

“fall lack of color” is my favorite. The eye can travel easily through and round the photograph. The light on the ferns is pale as is the color itself in nature.
On the other one “no fall color2”, my eyes get lost because they have no place to rest.
Just my thoughts.
