MALLORCA – As I’ve noted in a previous post we approached Mallorca with some skepticism. It’s a major, large scale tourist destination, particularly in August. The airport is huge; it’s a major stopping point for cruse ships; Palma is an LA-type urban sprawl. But we have found a unique, quiet corner of the island where there is excellent hiking in chilling. Here we are on a boat ride to a quiet bay and some snorkeling.
