NEW YORK – I drove back down here this morning from yesterday’s dismal mission in Connecticut, ending the day with a visit with Oliver.

BANTAM CONNECTICUT – Tough day. Our 15-year-old Norwich Terrier, Basil, finally could no longer stand on his own so it was time to put him down. Here he is in his peaceful last sleep. Rest in Peace, Basil.

MANHATTAN – Yesterday was consequential. A daughter was born to our daughter and son-in-law. So here she is. Our new granddaughter. One day old Georgina. Welcome to the world. It’s a tough place.

BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – Here again. Construction out my hotel window. This was all parking lots three years ago. Two frames stitched.
