WARREN CONNECTICUT – Out with my drone today – a perfect early Spring day (this is the muddy season here; real Spring doesn’t start until May). My confidence in my piloting skills is increasing so I’m venturing a little further afield.
Day 2,739 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day two years ago (day 2,009): Grand Central Terminal
WARREN CONNECTICUT – More work with my drone – this time flying it inside of our barn getting an angle that I would have needed a very tall ladder to replicate.
Day 2,726 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day three years ago (day 1,630): Water tank
NEW PRESTON CONNECTICUT – I went out with my drone today to photograph the falls in New Preston. This has been an elusive prey – there’s not decent angle to photograph it from the banks of the stream because of structures, trees and underbrush. But of course with a drone I could fly straight up the stream. The images are all three frames stitched.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – A rainy day here.
Day 2724 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day three years ago (day 1,628): Amsterdam
WARREN CONNECTICUT – I used the opportunity presented by a good sunset today to photograph a friend’s house from its best angle, but an angle that is impossible from the ground. This is an example of a “drone as cherry-picker” image. The second image is a drone’s eye view of a barn, actually in Washington Connecticut.
Day 2,714 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day last year (day 2,349): Houston .
