LONDON – I got up early this morning to walk on the Thames walk between the Tower and Greenwich. Much less successful that Yesterday’s Regent’s canal towpath because of construction interruptions. Im including a tourist angle on Tower Bridge and random stuff from walking around London.

LONDON – I met my sister-in-law today for a walk of most of the length of the Regent’s Canal. Built in the early 19th Century the canal connects the Canary Wharf area in the East to an area to the West of Regent’s Park known as Little Venice. All in all we walked around 8 miles. I used my Leica Mocnochrom, generally shooting wide with my 24mm Summilux lens.

LONDON – I took the day BA day flight here this morning – I’ve got meetings here next week. Travel days are never good for me. This is two frames taken with my iPhone stitched and converted to black and white with my proprietary formula.

LONDON – This morning I took a walk around Shepherd’s Bush with my Leica Monochrom. I headed back to New York in the afternoon via Virgin Atlantic.

LONDON – My sister in law and I went to the Tate Modern to see the large Malevich show there, which was spectacular. I then got my exercise for the day walking the south bank from the Tate Modern, past the new US Embassy under construction, to the huge development being built at the Battersea Power Station.

On this day two years ago (day 1,068): Bunheads in Saratoga New York, where there is a serious dance community.
LONDON – Still here. Another day exploring Holland Park, Chelsea and Kensington. I walked to the Serpentine Gallery where there was a Marina Abramović performance entitled 512 Hours. No cameras in the gallery but nice light outside so I had a pretty good run of architectural images.
