NEW YORK NEW YORK – Getting my bearings back home. Not a very productive day.
Day 2490 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day six years ago (day 299): Sao Paolo. The color original and the black and white conversion.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – This time we made our flight. I caught an architectural image near home on Lexington Avenue before we left.

On this day five years ago (day 639): Chain link
NEW YORK NEW YORK – What a miserable day. We were caught in epic traffic going to JFK to leave for Europe, and missed our flight. This is an absolute first for us, not to be repeated. We managed to reschedule on the same flight on July 16, and came back home tired and out of sorts. We will be starting our trip in Arles, France, staying with friends, and this means that they have had to cancel our first day of activities. Ugh.
An image from Madison Avenue near home stocking up on stuff.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Today’s post is about New York but I’m actually writing it three weeks later from Todi Italy. My internet connections have been sketchy for the past few weeks so I’ve gotten behind on posting – I’ll catch up to date over the next few weeks by posting twice a day.
In actual fact July 11 was a distracted day in New York as I prepared for a trip to Boston followed immediately by three weeks of vacation in Europe.
Day 2461 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day three years ago (day 1365): Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Odds and ends around Manhattan.

On this day two years ago (day 1720): 1185 Park Avenue
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Where to start? I found myself today in the West Village in brilliant early evening light and got many interesting images (revisiting some sites that I’ve long been interested in). Then at cocktails for the Center for Fiction. I’ve had a lot of trouble editing.
Day 2449 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day Six years ago (day 258): Ecuador
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Hard to know what this is: a piece of junk or a valuable picture. I found it stood up on Park Avenue, apparently unattended. Shot with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm “rigid” Summicton lens from 1962.

On this day six years ago (day 256): Ecuador
