MUSTIQUE ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – I spent a good part of the day walking around with my Leica S and a 120mm Leica macro lens capturing details. I’m getting the hang of operating the camera, but for me visual epiphanies using anything by wide angle lenses are few and far between.

MUSTIQUE ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – We’re here in the Grenadines for a week of r&r ahead of a tough schedule of client meetings in February. I’m shooting mostly with my Leica S, today snapshots of friends.

ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – A long travel day from New York to Mustique, our favorite island paradise. If you’ve been following these pages you know that my work on air travel days generally sucks. This, taken with my iPhone, is not as bad as usual. I’m down to three cameras at this point (probably a lifetime low): my Leica S, my Leica Monochrom and my iPhone. This simplifies travel but it means that I really depend on the iPhone because it’s my only “pocketable” camera.

MUSTIQUE – Our last day in the Grenadines. I’ve gotten a strong positive reaction to the photo of Maria’s bathing suit below (taken with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Noctilux lens), probably because that it carries a suggestion that Maria has shed it and is nearby sunning. Actually she’s off packing and the swimsuit is just on the post drying off. Context is all. Then a selfie of me in a mirror that I quite liked.
