WASHINGTON CONNECTICUT – New Preston Cemetery. This is on the road from our house to the hardware store so I stop here for photo ops frequently. Taken with my Leica Monochrom and 135mm APO Telyt lens. I don’t often shot long buy in this case I liked the perspective compression and selective focus.
Ice – more on this in a few days.
On this day one year ago: Stubble Field
NEW PRESTON CONNECTICUT – Spring is almost here. Spring runoff swelling the Aspetuck River. Taken with my medium format Leica S camera. Two frames stitched.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I spent today (photo wise) messing around with my new Leica S, Leica’s medium format competitor to Hasselblad and Phase One. There continues to be a lot to learn. Here are a couple of examples.
On this day last year: White brick apartment
NEW PRESTON and WAREN CONNECTICUT – So here’s another one of the buildings in New Preston Connecticut, shot with my Alpa Max, a 47mm Schneider Digitar lens and a Phase One IQ 180 back. I caught our friend Dorothee Grisebach and Maria with my Leica after we packed the car up to come back to New York.
On this day one year ago: Dog treats.
WASHINGTON CONNECTICUT – Perfect autumn day. I got to New Preston before the stores opened so I had an opportunity to capture some of the local building before cars showed up. Taken with my Alpa Max and 47mm Schneider lens. I used the shifts on the camera to correct perspective in the camera.
The end in a series of 24 self portraits, taken in my studio in Warren on February 13, 1999 at 3:00 PM local time.
