NEW YORK, NEW YORK – A busy day – this evening was another installment in my periodic poker game – with me acting as host. So of course I had to invest significant time in counting chips, planning Chinese takeout food and of course sorting the wines out and planning on what to do with my winnings. Here’s an image as the game broke up. Another one of those days when I just squeaked under the wire in terms of getting my picture before the day was over. NEW YORK NEW YORK – I had lunch today in the cafeteria at Dewey Leboeuf. Here’s the view out the window across West 53rd Street, taken with my Panasonic GH2 and a 14mm pancake lens.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I have better days and worse days. This was one of the better. Sometimes it is enough just to go through your routine day with a camera in hand. It helps that it’s Spring. I met Francesca (our daughter) at J. McLaughlin where she was picking up a birthday present for her fiance, and for a coffee.
the way regular visitors (thanks to all of you) may notice that I’ve changed the galleries to the right. I’ve added a collection pulled together from the Litchfield County Connecticut churches that I’ve been exploring for the last 16 months, and a series of timed exposures taken out of the window of a high speed train in China. NEW YORK NEW YORK – Walking up Park Avenue late this afternoon I had a chance to spend some time shooting Will Ryman’s Roses with my Leica M9 and a Cosina Voigtlander 16mm lens. (Post updated April 25, 2011)

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – Park Avenue is sprouting giant roses installed by sculpture Will Ryman. Here I’m using one as a backdrop for a solitary, struggling tulip. This was captured early evening with my Leica and a 24mm Summilux lens.
