MANHATTAN – We drove back from Connecticut a bit early today to drop in on Oliver and Francesca, who seem to be well launched into babyhood and motherhood, respectively.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Francesca and Oliver are doing so well that the hospital sent them home today. I was there to help out.

MANHATTAN – A moments day. I started in the morning in Boston, got an email at around 8:00 AM to the effect that our daughter (Francesca) had gone into labor, caught a 12:05 Acela to New York, and arrived at Weill Cornell Medical Center in time to meet Oliver Woodrow Pitts who was then exactly three hours old. Images below, needless to say.
