NEW YORK NEW YORK – I spent most of the day on foot. After taking the tramway to Roosevelt Island I walked most of the length of the island, then across a bridge to Queens, then to the Socrates Sculpture Park on the East River, and finally to a subway stop and back home. The winter light was fabulous – I had a good day of photographs.
Day 1,863 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Back home I decided to take the tram to Roosevelt Island to explore the new Roosevelt Memorial on the southern tip of the the Island. Here it is, taken with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Summicron Asp. lens.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – My birthday.  This image is of the  59th Street Bridge and a pylon for the Roosevelt Island tramway at sunset.  As of this post I’m adding information about camera and technique, not because it matters (the images speak for themselves) but to provide a bit more traction to search engines, which look for words, not pictures.  S0 . . .
