WARREN CONNECTICUT – Our first snow of the year, in time for a whitish Thanksgiving. There are still leaves on the trees as a result of the very late Autumn. Lovely day.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – This is one of the first time’s that I’ve actually felt good about images from the Northeastern deciduous forrest. I’ve been struggle with this landscape for a while – it requires a completely different approach than the Western landscape that I grew up in. Today I got close and embraced details that convey a sense of mass and foreboding, and used selective focus. I’m also using on camera fill flash. You’ll see more like these.
