WARREN CONNECTICUT – A busy day prepping for meetings next week so photography is not a top priority. I managed to shoot some hostas, which we have in vast profusion here because we’ve got a lot of deep shade in the summer, which they thrive in. Not a terrific image – last year’s image of similar subject matter is much more interesting.
I’ve started key wording these images as “summer”, which I haven’t done in the past. The summer aesthetic here is a feeling of being crowed by lush plant life, some of which is poisonous and most of which harbors dear ticks and thus Lime Disease.
Day 2096 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day last year (day 1731): Landscape.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – We had houseguests here for the weekend so hours were filled with cooking and conversation.

On this day two years ago (day 1365): Venice, Bridge of Sighs.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – Today I’m afraid that I’ve been distracted by may day job. I shot a few good light images around the house, mainly with my new Leica Q which I convert to black and white. I’m experimenting with on-camera flash with this camera with reasonably subtle results.
Day 2094 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day two years ago (day 1,364): Venice Biannale
WARREN CONNECTICUT – This post is of my photograph taken on June 14 in Connecticut but I’m actually writing this from a house in the Cote de Rhone, actually a Crusader fortress converted to a huge rambling house. The internet connection is poor here so I’ll be filing short posts – I’m eliminating “On this day last …” until I get back to a better connection.
Day 2068 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
WAR5REN CONNECTICUT – Brothers in a rare moment of repose.
