NEW YORK NEW YORK – I tried something different today: shooting in color. I took my Leica M and Luxochron lens out for a walk around Manhattan. (“Luxochron”, by the way, is my name for my Leica 50mm Summicroh Asph. lens, which is said to be the most perfectly corrected normal lens for any camera ever and is priced accordingly.) But guess what? Most of the images that I found today look better in black and white so I converted them. Here’s an example with some high key lighting.
On this day last year: John Chamberlain sculpture.
